Home / Plan Your Visit
Ready to visit? Yay! Here’s what you need to know:
We know you’re busy and don’t have time to read this entire website (unless you want to!)—so here are the quick tips for your first visit so you’re ready to get right to the fun!
How to reserve a spot?
Some days we have plenty of space, and other days we fill up—so it’s best to reserve your open play session in advance through our app.
When booking, just select your pass type (1-child, 2-child, 3-child admission, Play & Save pack, or membership). You only need to book one slot per family—we’ll know how many kids are coming based on the pass you choose.
If your plans change, no worries! Simply cancel in the app or give us a call, and your pass will stay on your account to use another day (for up to 3 months). We know life with little ones is unpredictable, so we keep it flexible.
Open Play Pricing Options
Weekday open play passes are $25 for first child and $17 for siblings on weekdays.
Weekend open play passes are $28 for first child and $17 for siblings on weekends.
6-packs save you $5 on weekdays and $8 on weekends
Memberships provide the best savings with unlimited visits and no need for reservation in advance (even if we are sold out)
Admission Notes
✨ Adults are always free.
✨ Infants under 6 months and children 8+ are free with a café purchase. To keep play safe for little ones, older kids should avoid roughhousing, running, or climbing in the play area. If needed, we may ask them to enjoy the café side instead, where we’ll happily provide coloring supplies, games, or puzzles.
STEMspot Calendar
Visit here each week for our weekly calendar or follow us on Facebook or Instagram. We will note any changes in our hours (due to special events) and share what fun activities and STEM experiments we are offering in our classroom. Unless otherwise listed, classroom activities are usually INCLUDED in your open play admission.
What to bring…
SOCKS: (preferably grippy ones!) All children AND adults are asked to wear socks in our play area to protect little ones from outside debris/germs. We have cubbies for you to place your shoes. If you forget your socks, we have options to purchase for $3/each.
WATER BOTTLE: We have a filtered water refill station—so feel free to bring a water bottle to keep your little one hyrdrated.
SNACKS. We strive to be nut-free, so please do not bring snacks with nuts so we can protect all our friends. You are welcome to bring other food or purchase items from our café menu.
What NOT to bring:
TOYS FROM HOME: Please leave personal toys, blankets, stuffies in your bags. Our materials follow safety guidelines and are sanitized—we cannot have new toys on the play floor as little ones are curious and will try to play with the new toy (even if it’s not theirs) and this can cause conflict, tears, and a liability issue for us!
COFFEE/ESPRESSO BEVERAGES: Please note-NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES are permitted, as we do have a full coffee, espresso and tea menu. We ask you let our awesome baristas make you something amazing instead of coming in with one of those “chain” coffees :). Trust us, we’ll make something you love!
What to expect…
Walk-in and check-in at the front desk.
We’ll need your last name to look up your profile/reservation and to make sure you signed a waiver. Feel free to place your drink order at this time (latte, cold brew, cappuccino, whatever you’d like!). All your purchases go on your ACCOUNT as a running tab. Before you leave, come over and pay your tab using cash or credit card. If you want to use cash, please inform us when you sign-in so we can apply the 4% cash discount.
Get comfy.
Place bags/strollers by the windows. Take off shoes and make sure everyone has socks.
Explore, play and have fun!
IF you’re working, find a spot at our curving café table where you can set-up and have full view of your kiddo . IF you’re joining in the fun, enjoy rotating through the exhibits or sit on one of our cozy couches with your drink and sip while you watch your little one explore and learn. We are not a childcare facility, so caregivers are ultimately responsible for the safey of their children, however, our play guides do rotate around the exhibits to make sure they are being used safely and are set-up optimally to promote learning.
Rules
Shoes are permitted in the café seating area, classroom, and bathrooms only. Socks must be worn (adults and children) in the play area.
Adults are free. Babies under 6 months are free with a café purchase.
You may take your lattes, mochas, cold brew, etc. into the play are if the drinks REMAIN in your hand and the lid is on. If you want to set the drink down, we ask that you move to the café bar area or tables.
Adults must accompany little ones into the classroom for activities.
Our staff is here to keep exhibits tidy and for re-setting materials to optimize learning. While we are happy to lend a hand or help you introduce an exhbit to your child, we are not a daycare facility and you must remain on site and supervise your child during play. We have sofas in the play area if your child is younger and needs you more often (especially around choking hazards) and bar seating that gives you.a clear view of your child if they are older and able to play independently or with a friend.
We take cleanliness very seriously. If any toys end up in a little ones mouth—please place them in our Toy Bathtub buckets, and we will sanitize them before placing them out on the play floor.
Take a Tour!
Our exhibits are always rotating and changing to keep things fresh, but here are some of the fun hands-on learning experiences your kiddo will explore:
