At STEMspot, our weekend birthday party packages offer something many larger venues don’t: complete privacy. Unlike busy trampoline parks or crowded play centers, our space is reserved just for you and your guests—making the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. Since our parties are designed for children under 8, we know many little ones will have their families with them. That’s why we don’t charge per person for weekend parties. Invite up to 60 guests—grandparents, cousins, friends, neighbors, classmates—the more, the merrier!
A Space for Adults to Enjoy
Tired of cramming into a tiny party room while kids eat their cake? At STEMspot, we make sure adults can enjoy the party too! Our café area, with its large windows overlooking the river, provides plenty of comfortable seating for parents and other grown-ups. We even offer add-ons like a barista or an unlimited coffee/tea bar to make your experience even more enjoyable. Since little ones need their grown-ups nearby, we ensure the space is just as inviting for adults as it is for kids!

Simply Sweet Playdate

- Open play admission for up to 5 children
- Private use of our classroom for dessert/cake-cutting and pictures (20 min)
- Set-up includes tablecloths, balloon on stick table décor, cutlery, napkins, and dessert paper plates for total number of guests
- We will set-up the room for you with simple tablecloths and a sign. You provide dessert/cake/treat; there is not enough time for a full meal.
- This is perfect for families looking to combine a playdate with a little celebration during weekday open play=urs.
Engineer Your Fun (DIY)

- 2-hour party + 30 min. set-up
- Our DIY option is perfect for parents that enjoy bringing their own Pinterest or Insta vision to life! You'll have 30 minutes before party time to set your tables, backdrop, dessert area, etc. We just ask that you follow our decoration guidelines to protect our space.
- Up to 60 guests (any combination of children over 1 and adults)
- Private use of the entire facility (we will be closed to the public)
- One designated party host to help with party flow & clean-up.
- Small water bottles for all guests.
- Grippy socks provided for all guests
- We will confirm any add-ons you would like us to provide one week before the event.
Signature Celebration

- Private Facility Use: Enjoy 2 hours of exclusive access to our play area, café seating, and classroom for your birthday celebration. We will NOT be open to the public during your event.
- Guest Capacity: Invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors, anyone! You can reach up to 60 people (any combination of adults and children).
- Decor: We will provide tablecloths, tablemats for children, table balloon bouquets, cutlery, napkins, and paper plates to match your theme.
- Choose a theme, and we do the rest!
- Set-up includes custom coloring table mats, table balloon bouquets, cutlery, napkins, and paper plates for total number of guests
- 1- large fruit board; 1 large vegetable/cheese board
- Water & Lemonade (or juice boxes) for all guests (served in a dispenser)
- Grippy socks provided for all guests

Feel free to bring any catered food for your event! To make it even easier, we partner with Salvatore's, our neighboring caterer on the 1st floor. When you order from them, we’ll handle the pick-up and setup to ensure your meal is fresh and hot for your guests. Order and pay for your appetizers, meals, or desserts directly & we’ll pick it up and set it up for you during the party (http://www.salvatoresriverwalk.com/)

Please help us protect our space by following these decor rules. Failure to follow these rules will result in loss of deposit and potential responsibilty for damages.
Tape Rules: You can use Scotch or masking tape on doors, windows, or tables, but please avoid using any tape or adhesive on walls, ceilings, light fixtures, furniture, or floors.
Balloon Displays: Ensure balloon garlands or displays can fit in the elevator and that you can set them up within your 30-minute setup time. All balloon displays must be removed after the party, as our staff cannot dispose of them.
Loose Balloons, Confetti, & Piñatas: Limit loose balloons to 30 and keep them contained in the café area due to potential choking hazards and mess. Please do not bring ANY confetti or glitter as our space serves infants as well and we need to keep our floors safe. We also do NOT allow piñatas unless they are the style where you pull strings versus cracking them open.
Helium Balloons: Make sure helium balloons are tied down with weights, as we have very high ceilings.
Outside Vendors: If you’re bringing in outside vendors (e.g., face painters, magicians), please inform us in advance so we can coordinate the necessary paperwork.
Corkboard & Easel: We provide 2 easels for posters or signs, and a corkboard for additional decorations or photos.
Setup & Cleanup: We will handle all set-up and cleaning with the Signature Package. For the DIY package, you have 30 minutes before the party to set up and 15 minutes after to take down and remove all decorations. If you exceed this time, an "overtime" charge will apply. Our staff will handle cleaning tables, chairs, sanitizing play equipment, and vacuuming, but you are responsible for taking down your decor and popping then disposing of any balloons.

If you choose our Signature Package, we will set-up for you--simply give us your child's theme. While we have plans for dinosaur, building blocks, sports, unicorns, under the sea, outer space, and other themes. We are also prepared to tackle unique themes--if your kiddo really wants a rainbow-ninja-in space party--we can make it happen!

Steps to book online:
Reserve Your Date and pay your deposit online.
Customize Your Party: After your deposit, you'll receive an email with a customization form to select your birthday party package & add-ons as well as any customizations.
Event Link: We'll create a custom event link that you can include in your invitations so guests can complete waivers in advance.
Confirmation: We’ll confirm details 5 days before the party and remind you of any missing waivers and to confirm all add-ons and customizations.
Party Time: Arrive and enjoy your celebration!
Final Payment: At the end of the party, settle the remaining balance (plus any add-ons) with your card on file or another accepted payment method.

Canceling 14 days or more before party: We will refund your deposit or we transfer your deposit so you can re-schedule the same package on another available date. This must be done on phone by speaking directly to a staff member and receiving a confirmation email.
Canceling 6 to 13 days before the party: We will credit your deposit on your client account to use at STEMSpot for future play, classes, events, or birthdays (credit is valid for 6 months).
Canceling 5 days or less before the party: Unfortunately, when you cancel so close to the party date, we have already prepared for the materials for the event staffed your party hosts. It is too short notice to open up the time-slot to other customers, so you will not receive your deposit back. If you added a barista add-on or activity/craft add-on, the cost of those add-ons cannot be refunded either, as they require extra advanced preparation. Birthday party cancellations are not officially canceled until you discuss directly with a STEMSpot employee AND receive a confirmation e-mail stating the event is canceled.

At STEMSpot, our party hosts are fully compensated for their time and efforts during your event, so tipping is not required. However, if you feel that the service provided went above and beyond your expectations, you are welcome to add a gratuity on the final invoice at the end of the party.

You will be asked to pay your balance at the end of your party. We can charge any additional purchases made day-of and provide you with a final invoice. We accept cash or credit card. We do NOT accept personal checks.

Let us help you choose the perfect craft to match your child's birthday theme! Our staff will prepare all the materials and guide the kids through a fun, hands-on art project during the party. The best part? The finished craft becomes a take-home keepsake that ties into your celebration and serves as a unique party favor! And yes, we can do slime!

Self-Serve Hot Cocoa Bar
Our Hot Cocoa Bar is the perfect cozy addition to your party for just $75! We provide cups, hot water, hot cocoa flavors, and a fun toppings bar for both kids and adults, plus sweet treats like cookies and mini donuts. The bar is open for the duration of your party, with unlimited refills available during your event. Decor and serving items must stay in the café area.
Private Barista Service
Make your party just as fun for the adults with a dedicated barista crafting made-to-order drinks exclusively for grown-ups as they socialize and enjoy the festivities alongside their children. You can open a tab and pay at the end, let guests purchase on their own, or even provide one drink token per guest—whatever works best for you.
Balloons
Our in-house party team will craft budget-friendly balloon arrangements for your celebration, eliminating the hassle of ordering, picking up, and transporting balloons yourself. Let us take care of the balloons so you can focus on enjoying the festivities with your guests!

Get ready for a refreshing twist! At our Lemonade and Fizz Bar, guests can choose from a variety of fruits and syrups to create their own colorful, fizzy drinks. Just mix in some lemonade or sparkling water for a delightful treat that encourages your guests to have fun & creative!
Balloon Drop & Dance Party

End your party with a dramatic balloon drop & dance party! Over 200 balloons will fall after a countdown and the birthday child can lead the fun. You may take as many balloons home as you’d like after the party! Or you can use them for a Popped Art Piece.
